FURNITURE DREAM SCAPES - PERSONAL CREATIVE WORK
I designed these furniture dreamscapes populated with various pieces I had designed to exercise my rendering and curating skills.The furniture forms are meant to embody corners and the edges of intersecting planes found in large scale architecture.
Prior to designing the family of furniture pieces I had been collecting photos of brutal architecture and Sol LeWitt’s work. Many of these intriguing forms and configurations were in large scale architectural applications and larger than human scale. I wanted to bring these giant macro design moments into a smaller scale, so furniture was the perfect vehicle for this endeavor. I curated the pieces into dreamscapes to imagine the worlds they would live in.
